Life can certainly be confusing at times. It’s life! Life is constantly moving forward and propelling no matter what so if you can learn to ride the waves of life you will be good! But you have to remember and believe that you got this no matter what!! You ARE strong enough, you ARE good enough, you WILL overcome anything whether it’s in the physical realm or by adapting/changing/modifying your thoughts or behaviors or maybe just simply doing something different.
You have to remember that power comes from within and you can externalize that frequency throughout your whole body, mind, and spirit. when you are not practicing ways to ground yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. The more you practice
Never look at the present moment as a permanent negative or positive because the present moment eventually passes. How do you feel right now? Mentally? Emotionally? About your life? About your relationships? About your career? Finances? The list goes on and on, but if you can utilize your emotions to guide you in what aspect of your life needs to be worked on then emotions are good. Emotions are sometimes unpleasant because facing the painful moments is tough, but once you overcome them, you become stronger. This isn’t to say that you have to do this alone. While I believe in self-love, self-advocacy, and all aspects of personal improvement, I also believe that it’s a good practice to have people you trust whom you can confide in and rely on for support, but while you are also maintaining support for yourself.
It’s easy as hell to criticize yourself, but it’s substantially more difficult to get into the habit of positive self-talk and only accepting positive connections, friendships, and relationships. Hell, I’m still learning at 40 years old, but I’m incredibly proud of everything I’ve done to get here where I am now and continually working on myself.
believe we often hold ourselves to others standards and feel “down” or “lesser than” because we’re not living up to that comparison model, but that’s fucking bullshit. Learn to let go of the excess noise, value the true real friendships and relationships in your life, appreciate yourself, and BE FUCKING PROUD OF YOURSELF. We live in a world of distractions when your focus is not present. So relax, breathe, and remember that you are powerful. Use your focus on exactly what it is that you want, how you want to feel, and refuse to settle for anything less. Now, I’m not saying to become “reactive” when things don’t go your way, but to keep in the back of your mind just what drives you and take the time to get to deeply know yourself and unabashedly and unapologetically be your self at all times.
It’s absolutely easy to get lost or confused when you feel like you have nothing to live for and it is logical that when life feels badly to be distressed, emotional, energetically unbalanced, or just a specific emotion. The more you do, the more action you take, the more you give the chance for opportunities to arise for you. The thing that I think most of us forget or don’t realize that emotions and feelings are our personal responsibility and we must own them. The other thing that people forget is that it is good to get into a daily practice which includes creating high vibrational energy, good habits that create endorphins boost serotonin, adrenaline, dopamine, oxytocin in the body, feel good natural brain chemicals. I believe in a balance of doing and taking personal time to do something that gives you pleasure where you don’t have to rush or race.
One of the things that has kept me going for nearly two years now, something which completely changed my life, is bodybuilding. Bodybuilding, weightlifting, strength training. I was coming off of anti-anxiety medication because I decided I no longer wanted it nor needed it nor that it did anything for me except for make me feel temporarily sedated and afraid of living life. I’ve had so many changes throughout my life and especially in the past few years, but I’ll save all that for other stories/blogs/videos in the future. Bodybuilding gave me an outlet to develop, hone, craft, and strengthen my confidence, self-image, balance my emotional energy, and boost all aspects of my life. Now I’m looking at training to do it competitively and studying to be a personal trainer because I have the life experience and know how good it feels to change your life and commit yourself to something greater than average mediocrity.
We live in a society of “comforts” where it’s easy to numb yourself when you’re feeling “down”, but that’s only going to keep you in a repetitive cycle of mediocrity. Buckle down, say no to the distractions, say no to the comforts, and embrace what is real/true/feels good and push yourself to the fucking limit day in and day out. Trust me, it’s worth it.
Think in terms of doing the most and the best that you can in the present moment. Learn to surf the waves and life and maintain the positive high vibrational vibes within.
